Jeff Short

Jeff Short is the owner of SERVPRO of Ames. He has certifications from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Certification  (IICRC) in water, mold and fire. He believes in honesty and hard work. His community involvements include the Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and Mentor Iowa. He likes to spend time with his family, and enjoys youth sports coaching in baseball and football, loves fishing, and the outdoors. He is a supporter of Iowa State University athletics and the Chicago Cubs.

John Alessio

John Alessio is the General Manager for SERVPRO of Ames. He is certified in carpet cleaning and water damage restoration. His more than 20 years of experience in the cleaning and restoration industry include ownership of a carpet cleaning business and a janitorial business. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, coaching youth club softball and volleyball, and spending time with his wife and four daughters. What he likes most about working at SERVPRO are the people and the new work experiences each day brings. His forte is keeping things organized and making sure workflow is smooth.

Lori Newhouse

Lori is our Office Manager at SERVPRO. She has over ten years of experience in office operations and customer service. She has spent time in the field as a SERVPRO Tech, which gives her experience in water restoration, fire restoration, demolition, and reconstruction work.

Lori believes in always staying positive and loves to cheer on the team at SERVPRO.

In her free time, she loves hanging out with her family, playing with her dog, and doing DIY projects around the house. She is involved in youth sports and supports animal rehabilitation and rescue.

Jeff is the Director of Sales and Marketing here at SERVPRO of Ames. He joined our team in 2022. He brings years of experience in Business Development.

In his free time, Jeff enjoys watching freestyle wrestling, spending time with his family, and snowmobiling!

Jeff enjoys working at SERVPRO because he knows we are helping people and making a difference in people's lives in a time of need.

Jim Hays

Jim is a Business Development Representative here at SERVPRO of Ames. He joined our team in early 2022. He brings years of experience in the sales industry.

In his free time, Jim enjoys biking, spending time with his family, and spending time on the golf course.

Esther Rose

Esther proudly serves as the Job File Coordinator at SERVPRO of Ames. Having joined our team in July 2021 as a cleaning technician, Esther has consistently demonstrated a strong eagerness to expand her knowledge and expertise within the industry.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Esther finds solace in music, cooking, and cherishing moments with her family.

Her dedication to SERVPRO emanates from the rewarding opportunity to contribute to a team that provides invaluable assistance to individuals during challenging periods.

Pat Stilley

Pat is a Recon Coordinator here at SERVPRO of Ames. He brings years of experience in the construction industry.

Outside of work, Pat likes spending time with his 3 kids.

Dalton McMurray

Dalton became a part of our team at SERVPRO of Ames in the middle of 2021. Since then, he has shown remarkable progress and has been promoted to the position of Project Manager. Dalton brings with him extensive experience in customer service and the construction industry, which makes him an indispensable member of our team.

In his free time, Dalton enjoys skateboarding, hitting the gym, working on cars, and spending time with his friends and family.

Dalton loves working at SERVPRO because no 2 days are the same. He likes being able to get out and travel to help everyone as we service a large area.

Octavio Guadalupe Jr.

Octavio is a Production Technician here at SERVPRO of Ames. He joined our team in late 2022. He brings years of experience in the customer service industry.

In his free time, Octavio enjoys fishing, traveling, and cheering on his favorite sports teams!
